Well since surgery, my knee has grown bigger then my thigh!! There's just something not right about it, not to mention my thighs are different sizes. I was on crutches for only 2 weeks and my quad has atrophied to just a femur bone (thigh). Its completely disgusting. I am trying to fit physical therapy in between class, studying, and the OR. Ive actually never been so excited to go back to school, I had to take 2 weeks off and I cant even tell you how board I was. I wasn't able to drive at the time so my days consisted of studying, tv, and watching the cellulite multiply on my butt. I started my clinical rotations in the OR and am loving it. I'm working with the veterans and I love them and am honored to take care of them. I have good days and bad days. Sometimes nailing all my intubations (breathing tubes), IVs, and running the entire case, and other days I cant to anything right. During my time off, my mom came out to help me while Jordan was in Utah. We hit up a few restaurants, museum, Redbox, and the local liquor store in a "Jazzy" (see below). We spent Valentines day this year watching the sunset at the beach, cooking a delicious dinner at home, and movies. Jordan has been just as busy working and running my errands while I'm incapacitated (god bless him). I think he was more excited then I was when I went back to school. I love the jszzy pic!!! HA HA I know I am debating the blog thing right now. I miss you and hope you are doing better. We never did get to do lunch. I didn't hear if you ever made it to the spa. Get a facebook! HA HA
I have done 1 week of clinicals but that is all. I have another week scheduled in May and then hit it full time in august. I am sure you have many more exciting experiences than I do right now. Stuck in the classroom an all. I am glad to see that you are on the mend.
Oh my gosh you are too funny! I bet your leg is so so skinny.. You definitely fit in with all the Californians! I'm jealous! I will be coming to visit my sis in March so we will have to meet up for lunch!
I feel your pain....this is what bed rest was like for me!! I was going nuts! Not fun at all...there's only so much TV you can watch, and there's not much to choose from during the day!! You're looking great though. Cellulite? On you??? I'll believe it when I see it! :)
Hi Ashleah! I love all your pictures! You are Jordan look great. I love your jazzy pic too. Sorry to hear about your incapacitation! That sucks. It was fun to see pictures of your wedding too. Manny and I were both so bummed we couldn't go to your wedding, we had already paid for our vacation/family reunion in bear lake though and couldn't afford to drive back down and then up. You were a beautiful bride though! It's fun to see pictures of Monroe too, Manny misses that dog! And I'm with Jamie...I'll believe the cellulitis on you when I see it. You're gorgeous! Tell Jordan we say hi!
