We went to the Colbie Calliet concert on Friday night. We had a blast. It was at this place called The Venue. I had never been there but was a little suprised to see all the teeny boppers running around. I was expecting a bar which usually means no little people, we were a minority. She sounds just as good live as she does recorded. For those of you who dont know who she is, look her up. Shes a female version of Jack Johnson. If I ever take the time to figure out how to post music to my blog, she would be on my list. We ended up running into my cousins at the concert, who actually introduced me to her last summer. We went to Green Street after and had some cocktails with them after. There was this one man band that was playing there and he also was incredible. His name is Matt Calder. He plays the guitar, harmonica, sings, and plays the drums with foot petals. If you have a chance to go listen to him, you should. He plays every Friday night at Greet Street. I went into the wrong buisness, I should have been some kind of musician promoter. But really, whether you drink or not, stop by and listen to him, you wont be sorry.

I had some friends go to that concert too! They loved it. I was mad that I couldn't go, I had to work instead. I love Colbie she has an amazing voice. You need to listen to Feist, Kate Nash and The Weepies. They are great too!
Hey Ashleah! I just found your blog and wanted to say hi! It looks like you are doing great! You and Jordan are such a cute couple!
I just convinced Trevor of getting her CD. I love it. Trevor's little sister went to the convert and loved it. We miss you guys too. Trevor is in a tough rotation right now but we still want to hang out.
Oh my gosh I would have loved to hear her sing! She is awesome!!!
Ashleah, routed to your blog via a mutual friend. It's been far too long. Looks like you are well. Will check back often!
I love all of her music! I am having a hard time checking your blog cause there is rarely an update. Ofcourse I have to give you crap about it!
